Ochanomizu University’s Global COE Program held its Global COE Researchers’ Academic Reports Meeting of the 2011 academic year on February 17 (Friday), 2012. Each member gave a presentation of about 10 minutes, excluding Q&A. The program of the event is as follows.

This final debriefing session in the last year of Ochanomizu Global COE Program gave us a chance to look back over five years of studies and educational activities and also provided an opportunity to discuss research plans and prospects for the years ahead. Other program members who were closely involved in these activities or who served as project coordinators took part in the debriefing, thus making it a very useful venue for academic and give-and-take exchange in the last year of the five-year program.

GCOE倫理委の活動終了に伴う申請受付停止のお知らせ

　グローバルCOEの事業が3月末をもって完了するのに伴い、GCOE倫理委員会の活動も同時に終了することになります。つきましては審査に必要となる時間の関係上、本倫理委への審査申請の受付を、2012年2月10日をもって締め切らせて頂きます。直前のお知らせとなってしまい大変恐縮ですが、何卒ご理解のほどお願い申し上げます。

　また、GCOE倫理委員会に代わる研究倫理の審査組織については、現在設置体制などを検討中となっております。詳細が決まり次第、新組織からの広報があるかと思われますので、来年度以降に研究計画の倫理審査を希望される方は、そちらへの申し込みをご検討ください。

A research presentation meeting by the 2011 Grant-in-Aid　Researchers was held by the Global COE Education Program Committee on December 19, 2011 (Monday), from 0:30 pm to 4:45 pm.

At this meeting, 21 researchers selected through a public call for research in 2011 made a 10-minute presentation on their research results. Many interesting and valuable research achievements were presented, although the given research period for each researcher was only six months as 2011 was the final year of the Global COE program. Along with these oral presentations, the researchers submitted a research paper to the Proceedings: Grant-In-Aid Research Awards, to be published in March 2012.

The 1st Research Assistant Working Report (2011) was held by the Global COE Education Program Committee on November 18, 2011 (Friday), from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, and the 2nd one was held on November 21, 2011 (Monday), from 1:00 to 4:15 pm. This year, as the final year of the project, we had two Research Presentation Meetings with the 2011 RAs, where 17 out of 35 RAs made presentations on their research (of the remaining RAs, 15 Grant-In-Aid Research Award winners, and 3 were absent).














The presentations included 10 minutes for the reports, 3 minutes for comments, and 2 minutes for Q& As. The RAs making presentations were asked to report on both their
research completed over the past year, and the details of research currently underway. Commentators were selected from fields that differed from those of the reporters (education, psychology, and sociology). The conference contributed greatly to allowing a research exchange between young researchers at the university and to furthering mutual understanding.

グローバルCOE公募研究成果論文の提出について

教育プログラム委員会

１．論文および成果論文集の趣旨
　研究成果論文は、指導教員および指導教員が指名する１名の教員による審査を経た上で、論文集としてとりまとめて、広く研究成果を発信するためのものです。「公募研究成果論文集編集規程」に基づいて、教育プログラム委員会が成果論文集を編集します。
　提出していただくのは、採択された研究課題に関する、「オリジナル」な論文とします。ただし、採択決定日以降に提出された博士学位論文の一部を構成するものについては、重複をいといません。提出された論文は、審査を経て、『お茶の水女子大学グローバルCOE公募研究成果論文集（2011年度）』に採録され、公刊されます。
　論文は、「論文」と「研究ノート」に区分されます。提出する論文の性質によって、「論文」あるいは「研究ノート」をご自身で選択することができます。

２．執筆要領・提出物
　「公募研究成果論文集投稿規程」に従って執筆、提出してください。

３．論文審査
　指導教員（ないしはそれに代わる教員）および指導教員が指名する教員1名による審査に基づき、教育プログラム委員会が採録論文を決定します。評価は、絶対評価によります。
　なお、審査の過程で、掲載水準に達するまで修正を求めることがあります。また、「論文」として提出していただいた場合でも「研究ノート」に変更していただくこともあります。あらかじめご了解ください。

４．提出期日・場所
　提出期日は2011年12月14日（水）正午、厳守です。提出先は、GCOE事務局です。

５．完成原稿の再提出
　審査終了後、審査の結果修正を求められた箇所に限って書き直し、再提出していただきます。印刷中の校正は、ごく小規模の訂正以外は認めませんので、ご注意ください。
　提出期日は2012年1月20日（金）正午の予定です。再提出にあたっては、電子データを事務局まで送信のうえ、紙に印刷したものを事務局に提出してください。
　再提出までに英文アブストラクトのネイティブチェックを済ませておいてください。

The Global COE Secretariat hosted an “English Thesis Seminar” is on October 5, 2010. Explanations in the first half of the seminar focused on creating an appropriate writing environment, the structure of the thesis, the title of an English research paper, and correct English expressions. In the second half, following the next donation of points to be kept in mind when writing an abstract, the participants broke up into small groups and practiced peer-reviews of abstracts brought in by the participants.


　There were also discussions of the goals of participating in an international academic conference, skills required to give presentations, and the process of submitting an English research paper and having it published in a journal. This was a very valuable opportunity for the participants to gain a deeper understanding of the concrete processes involved in writing a paper in English, by learning the importance of presenting research results in English, the expressions used when submitting papers, and approaches to presenting papers at an international conference.

　お茶の水女子大学グローバルCOEプログラム「格差センシティブな人間発達科学の創成」では、拠点プログラムの遂行に必要な、すぐれた研究計画を有する若手研究者を支援するために、研究費を補助する「公募研究」プログラムを実施してい ます。2011年度は選考の結果、申請者29名のうち以下の21名の研究が採択されました。公募研究採択者は年度内に研究実績報告書を提出し、公募研究報告会で口頭発表を行う他、グローバルCOE事業の一環として発行される『公募研究成果論文集』に研究成果を投稿することが義務付けられています。
